Device guide
On Apple devices you watch IPTV through a player app from the App Store that supports Xtream Codes or M3U playlists. Install the app, add your login details and the channels load into the app. Apple TV, iPhone and iPad follow the same steps.
Device testing in progress
We haven't yet published a tested app list for this platform. Before you buy, check that a player app supporting Xtream Codes or M3U is available in your device's app store.
Covers: Apple TV 4K / Apple TV HD (tvOS) · iPhone (iOS) · iPad (iPadOS)
Open the App Store on your Apple TV, iPhone or iPad and search for an IPTV player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U.
Read the listing: some players are free, some charge a one-time price or offer an in-app upgrade. That cost goes to the app developer and is separate from your subscription.
Open the app and choose the option to add a playlist or login. Pick Xtream Codes (enter the server URL, username and password exactly as sent to you) or M3U URL (paste the full playlist link).
Wait for the channel list and program guide to load, then test playback.
On iPhone or iPad, you can also use AirPlay to send video to an Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible TV, if the app supports it.

Apple TV is the best Apple option for living-room viewing: tvOS player apps are designed for the Siri Remote, and the Apple TV 4K models with an Ethernet port can be wired to your router. iPhone and iPad are better for watching around the house, and many apps sync favorites between devices using iCloud.
In the United States, Apple devices install apps only from the App Store. That limits choice compared with Android, but every app has been through Apple's review process.
Some players are free with optional upgrades, others are paid. Check the App Store listing for pricing before you install.
If the player app supports AirPlay and your TV or Apple TV is an AirPlay receiver, yes. Watching directly on an Apple TV app is usually smoother.
It depends on whether the player app still supports your iPadOS version. The App Store will show a compatibility notice if it doesn't.
